Student Success Center at SIUE | Education | Edwardsville, Illinois
Juneau provided civil engineering and surveying services as a subconsultant to Mackey Mitchell Associates for this 68,000-square-foot, multi-phased building project at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Phase one of the project included the relocation and/or abandonment of water mains, storm sewers, electric duct banks, gas mains, high temperature water lines and chilled water mains that were installed during the original construction of the college campus. Sanitary sewers were re-routed upstream of the project to minimize costs associated with other options that were available and provided SIUE a sanitary sewer design that eliminated an existing pump station, reducing their infrastructure operation and maintenance costs.
Phase two of the project included the construction of the new building and the associated infrastructure. Juneau provided professional services for this project consisting of land surveying, civil engineering and construction administration services.
