Maryville Water System Improvement
Juneau Associates provided engineering and land surveying services for “Maryville Water System Improvements”. The project consisted of a 1.5 million gallon ground storage tank, a booster pump station, two additional water softeners, and water treatment plant building extension. The water treatment capacity was increased from 2 MGD to 3 MGD, and the water pressures and flows in the water distribution system were also increased. The project upgraded the SCADA system to monitor and control the performance of the water treatment plant and the water distribution system. The project was financed by Illinois Environmental Protection Agency Public Water Supply Loan Program in an amount of $2.4M.
