America’s Central Port South Harbor
The South Harbor Project at America’s Central Port included construction of 9,600 feet of rail track, moved over one million cubic yards of dirt and used over 8,000 cubic yards of concrete in the creation of a new rail/ truck/ barge terminal as well as a general cargo barge dock. Juneau Associates provided all construction staking and as-builts for approximately 1.5 miles of reinforced concrete pavement and storm sewers for a new haul road and service road servicing the new South Harbor.
The new facility at America’s Central Port will increase the handling capabilities of Port operators to better accommodate the demands and needs of Midwest growers and shippers.
