ILLINOIS TOLLWAY I-355 IMPROVEMENTS | WILL COUNTY, ILLINOIS
Juneau Associates, Inc., P.C. (Juneau) was contracted to support Construction Management (CM) services for DAMA and Cotter Consulting Inc and the Illinois Tollway I-355 Veterans Memorial Tollway Improvements in Will County, Illinois.The work under this Contract consisted of pavement preservation, box culvert repairs, and MSE wall repairs on I-355. MSE walls were significantly damaged by a semi-truck accident necessitating the removal and replacement of five (5) MSE wall panels. Work included the installation of soil nails and grouting of voids.
Juneau was responsible for the inspection, reporting and documentation, MOT inspection, eBuilder reporting and review, and measurement of contract quantities. Our staff conducted a thorough plan and specification review as well as submittals as required. They also monitored installed erosion control devises including dewatering system, and conducted observation and documentation for soil nail installation, grouting and testing.
