ILLINOIS TOLLWAY I-16-4283 | JANE ADDAMS MEMORIAL TOLLWAY (I-90)
Juneau Associates, Inc., P.C. was contracted to support Construction Management (CM) services for SPAAN Tech and the Illinois Tollway for several construction projects for the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90), Illinois.
The projects included:
I-17-4317 Grading and Landscaping Improvements
Work under this contract included various landscaping restoration
improvements, material excavation and final grading, and disposal of nonspecial
and hazardous waste.
I-17-4323 Tree Planting and Landscaping
Work under this contract included various tree planting and seeding at over 20
locations, installation of permanent erosion control improvements and tree
and other vegetation planting maintenance.
I-17-4333 Bridge Signing Improvements
Work under this contract included fabrication and installation of architectural
bridge crossroad identification signs at I-90 crossroad over-head bridge
locations and maintenance of traffic coordination to facilitate bridge signage.
I-17-4334 Bioswale Improvements West
Work under this contract includes repair of existing bioswales, various
planting of plugs and seeding, culvert cleaning, weed control and
maintenance and replanting of plugs and seeding as required by the contract
documents.
I-17-4335 Bioswale Improvements East
Work under this contract included repair of existing bioswales, various
planting of plugs and seeding and weed control
Juneau Associates staff provided Construction Inspection and Land Surveying services to assist and support the SPAAN Tech CM staff. Responsibilities included construction inspection, traffic control coordination, submittal review, material certification review and eBuilder reporting. Juneau Associates performed construction progress surveys for earthwork quantities and as-built surveys. Services included CAD support for as-built drawings. In addition, Juneau served as Quality Representative and conducted task audits and review of CQP. Juneau also met with project staff on a regular basis to review Tollway procedures and documentation.
