Prairie Farms Dairy – New Tank Foundation, Building Expansion, and Platform Foundations | Industry | Granite City, Illinois
Juneau was contracted to provide the structural engineering design and to develop the construction documents for a new tank foundation and building expansion in Granite City, IL. The project consisted of:
- A new 40,000-gallon tank silo supported by a new reinforced concrete spread footing foundation
- A 150 square foot building addition consisting of concrete masonry unit bearing walls, a metal roof supported from tube steel joist and a concrete slab on grade floor
- Platforms supported by new reinforced concrete spread footing foundations
