Mr. Charlie Juneau has more than 50 years of experience in designing stormwater and sewage collection and treatment systems, water distribution and treatment systems, as well as roadway drainage improvements. His responsibilities have included all phases of project development, ranging from conceptual planning and design to construction and project completion documentation. This includes the preparation of documents for project funding and permit applications with government agencies. His public work experience includes providing City/Village Engineering for numerous communities. As part of his municipal engineering work, he often prepares construction plans and specifications for public infrastructure, provides guidance to communities regarding development regulations and ordinances, and conducts reviews of proposed development plans.
Joe Juneau
Mr. Joe Juneau’s professional licensure, certifications, educational background, and extensive experience uniquely position him to oversee the development of contract documents and plans. In this role, he offers clients the assurance that projects are executed with professionalism, drawing on his skill set, experience, knowledge, and qualifications. Furthermore, his wealth of experience assists designers in providing the necessary information to create comprehensive and precise design projects.
Mark Carpenter
Mr. Carpenter presently spearheads the comprehensive coordination and management of land surveying activities at Juneau Associates. This role encompasses diverse responsibilities such as marketing, as well as overseeing the productivity of up to six survey crews. With a wealth of experience as a survey crew party chief, Mr. Carpenter has been integral to a wide array of projects. Notably, he currently holds the reins for all precision surveying endeavors commissioned by the United States Steel Corporation in Granite City, Illinois.
Furthermore, Mr. Carpenter’s contributions have extended to numerous cadastral surveys for the U.S. Forest Service, spanning an impressive 180 miles of horizontal controls. His multifaceted responsibilities encompass field data collection, intricate computations, preliminary and final drafting, and meticulous cost control for multiple field survey crews.
Brian Kulick
Mr. Kulick, a proficient project manager at Juneau Associates, Inc., P.C., handles a diverse range of roadway design responsibilities. With extensive experience, he has successfully designed numerous roadway projects across Indiana, Illinois, and Missouri. His portfolio includes projects of varying scales, from large interstate roadways to local roads. These designs encompass storm sewer systems, geometric layouts, intersections, pavements, traffic signals, traffic analyses, and three-dimensional modeling of existing transportation facilities. In addition, Mr. Kulick excels in producing comprehensive project reports that involve public coordination and environmental impact statements for roadway projects. He’s also skilled in preparing boundary survey documents and right-of-way plans, crafting survey plans for building sites, and creating detailed plans for road and bridge projects.
Wes Herndon
As the head of Juneau‘s Structural Department, Mr. Herndon has skillfully managed complex bridge design, rehabilitation, and inspection projects throughout a remarkable 42-year career. He has collaborated effectively with the Bi-State Development Agency, numerous DOTs, counties, and municipalities. Holding both a B.S. and M.S. in Civil Engineering, he’s a registered professional engineer in Missouri (PE) and Illinois (SE).
Mr. Herndon‘s expertise is demonstrated by his current NHI certifications, covering Fracture Critical Bridge Inspection, Tunnel Inspection, and In-Service Bridge Inspection. He’s also qualified as an NBIS Bridge Program Manager. Notably, he has served as the Program Manager for the MetroLink Structures Inspection Program for the past 20 years, reflecting his enduring commitment to effective project leadership.
