Drost Park Improvements | Parks & Recreation | Maryville, Illinois

Juneau provided the Village of Maryville, Illinois professional surveying and engineering services for recreational improvements at Drost Park. The project included the construction of approximately 2 miles of asphalt walking trails, horseshoe pits, bocce ball courts, basketball courts, site lighting of existing ballfields, parking lot improvements, and other miscellaneous park improvements.

The project was being funded in part with funds provided through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) Open Space Lands Acquisition & Development (OSLAD) Grant Program. In addition to providing construction and bidding documents for the project, Juneau provided the necessary submittals and coordination with IDNR to secure the OSLAD grant funding.  Upon completion of the bidding phase, Juneau provided construction administrative services for the completion of the project along with IDNR closeout services.
